Where to find us?

The Planetary Trail is accessible 24/7 and starts near train and bus station, at the end of the bridge. During summer, we organise guided tours along the trail including visit to the planetarium and observation of Sun/night sky at the observatory.

About

This trail from the station to the observatory includes information panels and scale models of planets. The planets and other astral bodies at each stop represent the distance these bodies are from one another in the solar system. The Planetary Trail also includes the Galactic Trail with 5 panels (below the observatory) with some interesting information about space. The Planetary Trail continues from the observatory to the district of Maršov (7 km in total), where it ends with an information panel about the boundaries of the solar system.
