Book a visit

You don’t understand Czech but you want to learn about night sky or the universe? No problem!

For visitors that don’t understand Czech language, we offer the possibility of booking a visit with English-speeking guide. What are the rules for booking like this? It’s simple:

• We ask visitors to book at least two days in advance.
• As we are unable to “mix” Czech-speaking and non-Czech-speaking visitors, we can accommodate your visit only in times that are outside of our opening hours that you can find here – opening hours for observatory, opening hours for planetarium.
• Please note, that even in case of booking, we accept cash only as payment (in CZK).

As we are low on staff that can accommodate English speaking visitors (there is only one staff member capable of this), it may happen, that we will be unable to accommodate your request because of vacation, holidays or sick leave. The more in advance you contact us, the higher the chance of finding suitable date and time for your visit. Thank you for your understanding.
